Our Difference

All of the caregivers at Here to There Home Health Care are 100% employed by us. We do not employ freelance workers. We feel that it’s important for our staff to be a cohesive team that works together and supports one another. Our hiring process is stringent; only a small percentage of the people we interview are invited to join our staff.

Once they are a part of the team, they are enrolled in a comprehensive training program. The classes include techniques in caring for clients with cognitive impairments, moving and transporting seniors with acute and chronic physical disabilities, nutrition and nutritional cooking, monitoring and enhancing the emotional state of our clients and 5-star service training. If you or your loved one has specific needs or desires, please let us know during our consultation and we will accommodate you.

Our complimentary initial consultation is a relaxed conversation in which we introduce ourselves, become familiar with your situation and your needs and determine together the best way in which we can help you. We are happy to consult over the phone, through email, or with Skype.

At the end of that conversation, our caregiver will promptly tailor a care plan specific to you or your loved one. They have been trained and are diligent in creating meal plans, social schedules, appointment calendars and time management as it pertains to household administrative tasks such as general errands and grocery shopping.

Our Process

Every postoperative experience is different. Physical and mental reactions to surgery are unique to each individual and circumstance. It’s not a one-size-fits-all situation.

A variety of the tools we employ to facilitate your recovery are used with many of our clients, but the difference lies in our caregivers’ ability to tailor a plan using the precise tools that are right for you. That plan is custom designed with care and deliberation to both accelerate and ease your physical and mental recovery.

We begin our relationship by simply sitting down and getting to know you. We’ll talk about your procedure, how we can help you prepare yourself for it and how to properly arrange your home for your return. During the course of this conversation, a member of our excellent team will tailor a plan specifically for you based upon your physical needs, medical needs, your interests, your food and drink preferences, your preferred forms of recreation and relaxation, etc. It’s important to take care of your mind as well as your body, and Here to There provides you with someone who is not only specifically trained to custom build a plan for you, but who also truly cares about you and wants to help you recover as quickly and peacefully as possible.

In addition to the wonderful people on our full-time staff, we work with a highly qualified local naturopathic doctor to create a meal plan specifically for you. Our staff is trained to cook those meals by a local chef who specializes in nutritional cooking. We also work with a local massage therapist and Registered Nurse (if needed) to facilitate your recovery and ensure your physical health is at optimal levels.

Any or all of these services can be lumped into a tailored package and presented to you as a single rate. During the initial consultation, a team member can provide you with materials regarding the benefits of nutrition and therapeutic massage to postoperative recoveries. We only hire the best of the best, and we assure you we only work with the best of the best. We’re confident our process will make your recovery time both easier and shorter.
